SELECT IMAGES FROM 'THE BLACK PANTHER COLORING BOOK' (1968)

"THE PIG IS AFRAID OF THE BLACK MAN, HE STRIKES OUT AGAINST LITTLE CHILDREN"

"BLACK PANTHERS PROTECT BLACK CHILDREN"

"THE PIG IS RUNNING AWAY FROM BLACK PEOPLE, 'RUN PIG RUN!'

"THE ONLY GOOD PIG, IS A DEAD PIG / THE PIG IS AFRAID OF BLACK CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY ARE BRAVE WARRIORS"

"THE BRAVE BLACK PANTHER DEFENDS HIS FAMILY"

"POWER COMES THROUGH THE BARREL OF A GUN"

"'OFF THE PIG', BEAUTIFUL BLACK MEN!"

Editor's note: After the publication of this post, an anonymous reader (or readers) pointed out the probability that this book could have been released by "The Man" just as easily as the Black Panthers. Our own Erik Del Tigre claims that the coloring book was published by the FBI itself to stir up anti-BP sentiment, which I find not only feasible but probable. I regret not researching the issue deeply enough before posting it. Thanks for your input, guys.

that's pretty fucked up, considering that several black panthers were thrown in jail for decades on trumped up murder charges.

Hey man, i just posted the images because i thought they were interesting. This is a real book, not an internet joke. I also think it's fucked up that 4 cops got killed in oakland over the weekend and that a BART cop shot and killed an unarmed dude awhile back and got off scott-free. I'm not passing any judgements. This is just the world we live in.

Maybe it is, it's hard to say... "internet sources" claim it's valid, but those are "internet sources". Either way, it's some weird shit.

These images are from a coloring book created by the FBI in the late sixties and distributed to white households in an attempt to vilify the Black Panthers. This is some fucked up shit, kids.

I guarantee that was not put out by the black panthers, who never advocated violence.

it is funny though.
