It's OK, take a minute to let it sink in.
Better now? OK. Allow me to explain. Once upon a time, there was a way heavier, way thrashier, and way cooler band called Exhorder who even weird-haircut-era Phil Anselmo was into (above, right). Many comparisons were made between the two bands, but unfortunately Pantera, obviously the shittier of the two bands, rocketed to megastardom at the same point that Exhorder faded into relative obscurity. It doesn't seem fair, does it?
Unfortunately, that's just the way things work sometimes. I'm sorry. Consider it a life lesson.

Many thanks, Sir. Much obliged. I've seen Sluaghter in a couple of "best thrash albums" lists, so was curious. I'll have a good old listen. I'm altready familiar with the material from the Floodgate project after the band's demise, althoguh not that great.
