ALEJANDRO JODOROWSKY - EL TOPO SOUNDTRACK (1970)

Alejandro Jodorowsky: The John Carpenter of avant garde Chilean cinema.

Not only did the guy direct some of the most fucked up, experimental films of the last four decades, including Santa Sangre, Holy Mountain, and today's featured freakout, El Topo, but he also recorded his own soundtracks for several of his films too, which were every bit as strange and brilliant as the films themselves. This stuff is nothing short of AMAZING. While you're at it, go back and get the Holy Mountain soundtrack too (the third post EVER on Illogical Contraption - what a short, strange trip it's been).
