ISAO TOMITA - THE PLANETS (1976)

Am I alone in my belief that a little Japanese nerd making concept albums about outer space via multi-layered Moog synthesizers is every bit as "metal" as a Cannibal Corpse record? Anyone?

No?

Observe: Nile, "Ramses Bringer of War". Tomita, "Mars, Bringer of War". Think about it, Hessian. Call me when you've caught up.

Gonna have to say from back in the day when I bought "Pictures" I decided that Tomita was metal before metal even knew it was metal. In fact it wasn't a term even used yet. We just called it HEAVY!
