Margo Gruyan

I’m constantly amused by how unmetal metal fans are. The image is always about toughness but the person usually experiences more brutality via netflix than real life. For instance, kittens. Metal folk LOVE kittens. Also cooking, hiking, reading The New Yorker, you know the guys I’m talking about. The dude drinking lambs blood on stage is probably the same dude who’s making you breakfast on tour. I don’t know how to account for it but I think we all know it’s true.

In a way, being unmetal is sort of more metal, right? Isn’t it all about defying conventions? Anyway, blah blah blah. Here is some Margo Guryan. A chick from the 60’s with a pillow soft voice and an incredibly gentle little pop record. Her paralyzing stage fright kept her from ever playing live and as a result she never made another record.

METAL

see, even the album cover has an inverted cross

It is amazing how fast I went for the download link... it was as if I craved what was behind it for lack of.

Thank you for this, in other words.
