MORBID SAINT - SPECTRUM OF DEATH (1988)

Criminally forgotten album from Sheboygan, Wisconsin's Morbid Saint. These guys came around a little too late for the "thrash" thing and a little too early for the "death" thing, but display the best elements of both. This album is SOOO fucking good. Really.

As an added bonus, the cover of Spectrum of Death gives us a little insight on where Eddie was 3 years after Live After Death (right), sporting a puffier hairdo and a missing incisor. Big ups to Maiden for loaning their mascot out to an unknown band from the Midwest. Nice guys.

This album is one of the greatest pieces of thrash ever. What else is there to say? It is in constant rotation in my morbid abode.
