Today marks the first day of the second year of the existence of Illogical Contraption. Huzzah.
Here is what you can expect in the immediate future of this blog:

1) I am making a deliberate attempt to shift my focus from quantity to quality. You will be seeing a significantly lower number of posts PER DAY, and hopefully an increase in overall readability and quality of subject matter. Don't like it? CONTRIBUTE SOMETHING. My email's over there on the right and the door is always open.

2) ALL ongoing series are over. This means no more 'Prog Blog Wednesdays', 'Monday Morning Movie Madness', or 'Saturday Morning Double Feature'. Writing these posts has become more of a chore than an exercise in creativity, and I'd rather not impose structure on an institution that thrives on LACK OF structure. All bets are off. The only thing you should expect from here on out: THE UNEXPECTED. Whoa.

3) Did I mention that YOU should contribute something to I.C.? I'm ready to get down off of my soapbox and hear what some of YOU FUCKERS have to say.

PS: All is not lost in the case of the deleted MediaFire files. I am still in the process of archiving and re-uploading said files, and will probably be using Megaupload (mostly) in the future. So there's that.

I'd like to thank you all for reading. Here's to many more years of the unrelated, the obscure, and the downright ludicrous. You guys rule.

Your buddy,

Shelby Cobras

Yeah man congrats! While I enjoyed the various series', I could only think "fucking awesome" that they won't be continued. Probably because I prefer the unexpected, and that's what I expect from IC. By far my favorite blog of all time ever, and I've only been reading for a few months, so thanks.
