SAINT VITUS - THE WALKING DEAD EP (1985)

Relatively rare 3-song EP from a pre-Wino Saint Vitus. Most of you will probably stop reading this post at "pre-Wino", which is a grave mistake. This is a really great EP, containing 2 shorter songs on side A ("Darkness" and "White Stallions" - which would later appear on Hallow's Victim) and the 11-and-a -half minute title track on side B. Some folks don't really dig Scott Reager's vocals, but for my metal dollar, it doesn't get any better than him belting out "The thiiiirteenth of Novemboooooooo" on "Walking Dead". It's epic. Man up and check it out.

Reagers fit Vitus better than Wino did by quite a long shot. Nothing against Wino, of course- he was great in The Obsessed, Spirit Caravan, and The Hidden Hand, but he was pretty average in Vitus.
