Here's a weird little album that my roommate brought back from Europe after he toured there in 2003 or '04. I guess his old band played with Nuit somewhere in the eastern portion of that continent, returning with little else than a handful of hazy memories and a copy of this disc. I tried to research these guys a little, but all I can find are tiny pictures on strange websites written in languages I don't understand.
Anyhow, the music is tasty, bringing to mind the droning, distorted funeral marches of late-era Neurosis except GOOD and INTERESTING. Plenty of violin, harsh gorilla vocals, and dissonant, clanging guitars, with just the right amounts of sadness and death. Good music to kill yourself to, be I'd be willing to wager that quite a few "non-suicidal" types might dig this as well.
