Long story short, one of the finest pieces of motion-picture art ever produced by humanity at large. A stunning achievement, a testament to the human spirit, a monumental epic that completely makes up for that LOTR garbage Peter Jackson would go on to direct years later. Dead Alive is a pillar that I have built the rest of my life upon.

Peter Dasent's score is pretty cool, too.
