Aylmer's recent post about Die Kreuzen got me thinking. More specifically, it got me thinking about Touch & Go Records. If you had to choose your favorite T&G release, what would it be? Somewhat ironically, I think that out of all the groundbreaking Die Kreuzen stuff up to Scratch Acid, Jesus Lizard, etc. etc. etc., my #1 is probably Big Black's Songs About Fucking, an album I bought a long, long time ago based on its title and cover alone. The robot drums, the screechy guitars, the subject matter--it just gets me every time.
As Aylmer already stated, Corey Rusk (and by extension, Touch & Go Records) isn't the biggest fan of file-sharing. But come on, we've all bought at least one copy of this album already, right? Along with a whole shitload of other classics from the T&G archives? This is just back up. Enjoy.

It always sounds lame when folks say "this record changed my life", so I won't. It is probably my most-played album of all-time though.
And yeah, I bought this 3 times - once on vinyl and twice on 'analog loyalist' Steve Albini's dreaded compact disc.
L dopa fixed me, alright.
ha! was listening to "fish fry" last night! My favorite big black songs are still the 2 from "god's favorite dog" though. . .
Corey gotsta eat man!
After Die Kreuzen, my fave T&G would have to be NECROS Conquest for Death LP. I used to be very fond of the Didjits but I'm really tired of that kind of rock now.
K.E: eldopa fuckin rule dude.
Rapeman's "Two Nuns and a Pack Mule" and the Jesus Lizard's "Goat"...
