SATURDAY MORNING DOUBLE FEATURE: SPACE IS DEEP

HAWKWIND - SPACE RITUAL (1973)

I don't have a bunch of time to jibber-jabber about music today, as Jaybird is graduating and we're both pretty swamped (CONGRATULATIONS, POOPEY!!!).
But this one needs no introduction. Trip out, man.

Watch a rad 1972 clip of Hawkwind performing "Silver Machine" (with Lemmy on lead vocals) here (stupid non-embeddable videos!).

I have always heard that posting Hawkwind music on a blog will result in scores of doughy, sexually-repressed fantards coming out of the woodwork and away from their Octavia Butler anthologies to make threats about shutting you down. I guess we'll see. I have personally always been discouraged from doing so by these mythical tales of corpulant beasts of unfettered dickery. Godspeed my son.

A-
I welcome the impotent threats of these doughy fan-boys. If they can tear themselves away from their Philip Pullman message boards long enough to fling some misplaced aggression my way, I say BRING IT.
fear is the blog-killer.

Lord Calvert-
thanks for stopping by. I don't know what the hell you're talking about, but you reached out and touched me, man. You really did.
