UKIAH HAIKU

I was in a small restaurant in Ukiah, California (a small town about two hours north of SF) tonight, looking at a neon sign that read "Ukiah" from behind, when I realized that "Ukiah" is "Haiku" spelled backwards. Which got me thinking about palindromes. And haikus.

So I wrote a palindromic haiku:

"YELL, AVOID EVIL!
EVADE ELF RADAR! FLEE, DAVE!
LIVE! DIO VALLEY!"

Thank you.

Here's a couple other palindromic phrases that I like:

A Dan, a clan, a canal - Canada!
Star wars, raw rats.
A man, a plan, a cat, a ham, a yak, a yam, a hat, a canal - Panama!
Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog.
I saw desserts; I'd no lemons, alas no melon. Distressed was I.
Poor Dan is in a droop
Too far, Edna, we wander afoot.
Rats live on no evil star.
Murdered - no pistol, so no grenade, Dan. Ergo no slots. I pondered: Rum!

Anybody else got one?
