Sick Pleasure/Code of Honor Split - 1982

I am posting this well known punk split from 1982. I don't know anything about the bands except Sick Pleasure was from San Francisco. I am posting it because they do this really cool song called "Get The MUNI Driver." It's about killing the MUNI driver. It's a really good song. I like it so much.

Both sides are great. COH were one of my favourite bands in the 80s, still love them, even if some of the lyrics are cringingly over-earnest. Dave Chavez and John Fox were taking hardcore in a pretty innovative direction on this record (and the single that preceded it), and I always felt that they never got their due.

Always dug how one of the boards has a Space Jockey sticker from the "Topps" Alien bubble-gum card series.

RIP Jonathin Christ...

Well it's certainly 100% better than what SoCal was calling "punk" in those days.
"MY BEACH! MY WAVE!"

I'm pretty sure Germs, Black Flag, The Screamers, The Weirdos, The Minutemen, Agent Orange, TSOL and Redd Kross never sang anything about beaches or surfing but go ahead and rewrite history its kewl, bro.
