SATURDAY MORNING DOUBLE FEATURE: AS IF YOU GUYS DIDN'T SEE THIS COMING...

HELLO, AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM HELLOWEEN!

Depending on where your preferences for Unicorn Metal lie, Helloween might just be a bit much for you. But I'm a guy that can jam out to Rhapsody with a straight face, so this shit is right up my alley. Today I present the WHOLE story, i.e. the epic tale of The Keeper of the Seven Keys, one of the finest concept/double albums in the history of German speed/power metal. Helloween completists will be quick to point out that I failed to include Part 3, 2005's The Legacy, but come on, that shit was weak. Enjoy the REAL DEAL:

These records were very important to me while I was a teenager and whereas a lot of cuts haven't aged well (whereas the Helloween EP + Walls of Jericho are pure gold for me still) if I ever feel down I bust out 'I'm alive' and it's all going to be alright.

This is why Power Metal became what it became, Helloween created this 2 Master Pieces 23 years ago and they are still the best there is. It is because of them that I am a Power Metal Head, next to Rhapsody. I don't think that The Legacy was a bad album, but it has nothing to do next to these two.
