Massive displeasure occurs whenever Candice Night makes an appearance.

I do have to say I enjoy their costumes, in sort of a 'Hammers of Misfortune eating dinner at Medieval Times' kind of way. And respect to Ritchie for still rocking the witch hat. But besides that... Yeeesh.

I try to keep an open mind, but all I can think when I ponder on Candice Night is 'Yoko Ono effect'.

An anecdote that says a lot about the Yoko Ono effect is the following: at some point John Lennon had the opportunity to play for a tv show along with Chuck Berry, who Lennon idolized. Think if you're Yoko Ono and Lennon tells you he can rock out with your biggest inspiration on stage, what do you tell him?

A. Congratulate him and be excited for him for coming this far with his talent

B. Offer to come along to show support and be there for the wonderful occasion

C. Ask to be included in the show, be given a microphone so you may do your 'primal screams' all over the feel-good rock n' roll jam he and Chuck Berry are going to get into.

Guess what she picked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9kgu71d81U

In the course of my musical career, it has always been common knowledge between bandmates that referring to someone's girlfriend as "Yoko" is perfectly reasonable grounds for a fistfight.

And that video is fucking brutal.

I wonder if he still busts out 'Man on the Silver Mountain'...
