Kung Fu

Whether or not you are familiar with any of the films, you're bound to appreciate this collection of classic kung-fu movie themes from the Shaw Brothers Studio. The action, tension and high-drama of the genre come out full force in the music with kettle drums and armies of brass. It may not be quite the same, but I almost feel as if I'm watching the movies again (or for the first time).

If you're not a kung-fu fan, I suspect you will be after THIS. Many of these films are more than just martial arts, but social commentary and humor, sometimes pure exploitation and I can't recommend enough that you check them out.

Years ago I started a monthly movie night at a local bar herein we watch old kung fu. I knew virtually nothing about the genre but I've grown to love them very much.
