Unfortunately, due to a stressful apartment-hunting process and a ridiculously strenuous workload, I've been forced to cancel 'Monday Morning Movie Madness' this week. But don't fret: it will return soon, along with the overbearing, 4-posts-a-day Illogical Contraption onslaught you've all grown to know and love.
Luckily, I have a wonderful collection of hand-painted movie posters from Ghana on display today, originally posted at ephemera assemblyman and brought to my attention by Illogical Bro Shane B.
Breathtaking.
Sorry I have no time to entertain you this week. Go outside, throw a football. Get some sun. Fatass.

Wow. I hate to say it but this might have been more entertaining that MMMM. While I look forward to your dropped knowledge,Ghanian Cujo The Killer Dog is just too much to digest mentally. Thanks for posting this.
Best of luck with everything!
In the same vein, although not quite as insane looking but pretty cool nonetheless, here's some Polish posters for American movies:

Reinterpretation of American movie posters=new post idea?
These are so awesome. The Ghana posters look like they were painted by Frida Kahlo after she drank too much mescal, and the Polish ones look like the country's film board hired Ralph Steadman to re-envision their entire import catalog. Fucking great. I will be using several of these for future Dalton flyers.
Why does the Ghana "Terminator 2" have Sly Stallone in it?
Those Polish movie-posters are amazing, many are better than the original ones.
Breathtaking is the word. I want to buy the House Party and The Spy Who Loved Me. Seriously, how much?
