As a follow-up (or precursor, depending on how you look at it) to a post I did featuring Joseph LoDuca's amazing score from 1987's "Evil Dead 2", here's the equally creepy and awesome score from the original film, composed way back in 1981. LoDuca (right, looking like some sort of "adult contemporary" artist) is a master of his craft, and ranks up there with Jerry Goldsmith and Richard Band as one of greatest horror movie composers of all time. Eerie and dynamic, his music was a large factor in the awesomeness of the "Evil Dead" trilogy, a bleak and captivating sonic masterpiece that's perfect noise to kill demons to. Enjoy!Download HERE
