RICK WAKEMAN & The London Symphony Orchestra - JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH (1974)

Let's say you're the producer of a "re-imagining" of Jules Verne's 1864 ode to subterannean dinosaurs, geological improbabilty, and high adventure Journey To The Center of the Earth. Who would you want as the "face" of said project?
Would it be The Mummy and Encino Man star Brendan Fraser (right)? Or would it be The Caped Crusader himself, analog synth wizard and fashion icon Rick Wakeman (below)?
Think about it.

  1. Can't get into this album. Hard to believe he left Yes because he thought "Tales from Topographic Oceans" was too preposterous, then went and did this like one year later... "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" rules however. That said, I bought JttCotE on vinyl ages ago, but have never bought a legit copy of SWoH8...
