I'm sure we're all familiar with the legendary MORPHEUS DESCENDS already, so I'll devote only a little time to this description.
Long story short, Morpheus Descends were absolute pioneers in the burgeoning Guatemalan dubstep scene of the early 1940's, and synaesthetic bandleader Glenn Beck Hansen is often considered a wrathful deity amongst the tribal elders of Endor. Their posthumous debut album Morbid Pannini won them accolades amongst the Guatemalan dubstep culture cogniscenti, and was also considered quite controversial due to canasta player Skimmy Jabrone's two-pack-a-day Boy Scout habit.
As we all know, a mild case of tennis elbow tragically cut short the career of maestro Glenn Beck Hansen, but the hypnotic polyrhythms he created via his oscillating duodenum will withstand the test of time forevermore. Morpheus Descends, like their contemporaries Hoobastank, Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories, and Scritti Politti, dwell in a place outside trends or movements, a place of immortal inspiration and immoral perspiration, a place where Ruffles have ridges and EVERYONE can has cheezburger.

excellent post cobras, i too am well aware of the impact Morpheus descends had on Guatemalan dub step culture, my father being a local guano coffee farmer in the area had the opportunity of following the band the first few years of their existence and even was called to stage when they needed an extra flute player.
