Ouch is right! I don't know who Max at Beerland is but he's either a schmuck or has a great sense of humor. Regardless, my rule is to stay away from things that everyone wants to get into anyway. Is the OFF! record good?
A similar tale while we're all name-dropping so unabashedly:
Me and Del Tigre were drinking at this bar called the 500 Club a couple years back, when James Duval (Frank from Donnie Darko) walked in (I think he was shooting a movie in SF at the time). He was being all gross and making out with this chick at the bar, no class whatsoever, so, as we got drunker and drunker, we started taking more and more obvious digs at him (Keith Morris style):
