Hey kids.....FREE CHOONS!!!!

I guess I'm a li'l guilty of letting the side down with some of the posts I've made of late, judging by the LACK OF COMMENTS. So, I figured I'd try bribery.

Everybody likes free stuff, right? I know I do. Free music is always great when you're poor like me, especially when the band themselves are givin' it away. Hell, EVERYBODY wins!

So, what we have here is TWO, count 'em, TWO free full-length albums by a side-project of the mighty Kowloon Walled City named SNAILFACE!!

Think Queens Of The Stoneage-style, slightly oddball, vaguely 'stoner', 70's inspired, Yeti-obsessed RAWK. I dig 'em muchly and so should you.

You can download BOTH their self-titled AND second record - cunningly entitled '2'- HERE, for FREE.....

...or, if you're into tapes, 10 measly bucks will get you BOTH albums on cassette in a box. On a bed of fur. Snazzy.

BUY 'EM HERE.

Hell, buy some Kowloon Walled City Stuff while you're there - they ROCK

See? told ya.

Oh, and 'Magic Hamburger' from the first Snailface album totally SLAYS.

  3. What happened to the stoic Englishmen who laughed in the face of adversity? You'd have been waving a white flag during the Blitz. Very sad my son.

  4. HA! But what could be MORE English than to reprimand people for their lack of politeness?

  5. Luckily my mouth is full of bar-bq chicken fajitas, otherwise I would've chundered all over these primevil vibrations.

  6. Chin up soldier. Do it for Queen and country, not for a pat on the back. Right-o, time for a cup of tea and some plain biscuits for dunking.

  10. See? it doesn't hurt to be polite. Unless you're being polite to the 'cheese-eatin' surrender-monkeys' A.K.A The French.

Seriously though folks, leaving comments gives me some way of judging whether or not I'm pissing in the wind when I post music. It's the only real way to tell if what I'm posting is going down well with people.

  11. That's the same thought I had for the first year that I did this blog, when nobody commented on anything. You young'uns are spoilt rotten.

PS to Americans, France = England. Same diff.

  12. *Spits biscuit all over keyboard* WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?! Right Cobras - OUTSIDE. Don't you KNOW that likening the English to the French is THE worst faux pas you can possibly commit?!?

Nah. fuck it. I think the thing is that I'm very aware that I own a lot of records and whatnot that my friends flat-out hate, so when I recommend stuff to people I'm very used to having them dislike it. Sometimes INTENSELY.

You shoulda seen the hoo-hah on the forum that I used to use when I recommended they check out Huntress. OUCH.

  14. Actually, I found the french Canadians to be a very pleasant people. Plus, even their TRAMPS are hot.

  15. I saw a hot tramp in Montreal - it may well have been the same one that David Bowie sings about in 'Rebel Rebel'. I couldn't believe how many beautiful people there were in Montreal. I was at a Converge show and I don't think i saw one damn minute of it due to my head being on a permanent swivel over the foxy femmes surrounding me. Yeah. Hot ladies, at a CONVERGE show! I know! Who'da thunk it.
    Goddamn I LOVE Canadia.
