SKARP - REQUIEM (2005)

Excellently depressive female-fronted custcore with screeching vocals, mindfuck tempo changes, and lots of samples about killing yourself, dying, committing suicide, death, and being dead. Their term: BLACKOUT GRIND.
Some of the tastiest fucking blastbeats this side of, well... Anything.
I'm pretty sure this is their only release. But I could be wrong. Perfect jams for folks who like to drink copious amounts of liquor and/or smash things. Prepare to be CHUFFED.

  1. I'm pleased to see my band "The Masked Men"'s graffiti behind them. This must have been in 1996 or so yeah?

  2. I think much later, early/mid 00's. Your graffiti survived!

  3. Shelby,
They had one other album in early 2000s named Bury Your Dead. Also very good but if I remember correctly there are some horn parts that kinda freak me out. I guess that is the point though. Good luck at MAN O FEST.

  4. Horn parts? I think I could actually get into that... And thanks, I've actually thought of you often during preparations for this historic event.
