VARIOUS ARTISTS - THE EXORCIST SOUNDTRACK (1973)

Scary, scary, fucked up, scary experimental soundtrack from some of the best known avant-garde composers of the 60's and 70's. Peter's bro, Krzysztof Penderecki, contributes a total of four epicly creepy tracks, along with further weirdness from George Crum, Jack Nitzche, Harry Bee, Anton Webern, and Hans Werner Henze. In addition, you get TWO versions of Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells", which is practically the "Happy Birthday" of horror movie themes.

Track listing:

1- Iraq - Jack Nitzche
2- Georgetown: Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield
3- Five Pieces For Orchestra, Op 10 - Anton Webern
4- Polymorphia - Krzysztof Penedrecki
5- String Quartet (1960) - Krzysztof Penedrecki

  3. Gee this movie is just amazing... and the soundtrack is just as good, so freaking creepy. I believe this is the only full color movie that truly scares the hell out of me, and the only black and white one... the masterpiece Nosferatu.
